Solutions for Siemens Call Recording

VoIP Passive Tap Siemens Call Recording

Uptivity’s application can use port-mirroring and packet-sniffing technology to perform call recording on your Siemens VoIP phone system. Many VoIP protocols are supported, including SIP and the Siemens H.323 protocol.

Our IP call recording solution is software based, so expensive telephony boards are not required. A single server can record up to 200 VoIP phones (physical or soft phones). For an implementation with more than 200 seats, or for some multi-site configurations, multiple servers can be configured for distributed call recording.

Uptivity can also record digital and analog phones in the same system, making your migration to VoIP call recording seamless.

Siemens’ call recording features:

  • Blended VoIP and TDM call recording available
  • Siemens H.323 and SIP protocols supported
  • G.722, G.711, or G.729a codecs
  • Capture line information, such as LCD messages, ANI, and button presses, using Channel Maps
  • CTI (TAPI) is not required, but can be used, if available

Uptivity's VoIP call recording applications can be deployed by tapping directly into the Ethernet lines near the IP PBX and local area gateway. Some tapping systems must lie deeper in the network and even pull data directly from workgroup switches via a mirror (SPAN) port.

Uptivity's voice-over IP call recording solutions can record Siemens telephones without requiring a CTI integration. Call-detail information on these recording types is limited to display information on the telephone sets.

Digital Station Tap Siemens Call Recording

Siemens’ passive tap phone recording solutions are typically wired in between the punch blocks connecting the digital set and the Siemens PBX line card.

Station-side passive tap call recording can capture all traffic to and from the workstation, allowing D-Channel information to be gathered and stored along with the phone conversations.

Using this method, Uptivity can deliver a solution to record phone conversations and desktop screen capture, and can be a full front-to-back quality management solution. All of this functionality is available without the need for CTI.

OpenScape Contact Center (OSCC) Suite offers flexible configuration and deployment choices, including social media and customer-collaboration solutions for small to large, standard to customized, and on-premise or in-the-cloud installations. The system provides multichannel inbound and outbound capabilities that improve operating effectiveness and efficiency.

OSCC provides multi-site, multichannel, skills-based contact routing and a report engine for inbound voice, email, Web chat, fax, voice mail, and callbacks for medium to large contact centers.

Uptivity Discover Suite integrates with the OpenScape Contact Center Suite to record calls on IP-telephony networks. Discover uses an OpenScape user account to communicate with the system.  Its multi-tenant environment enables clients to divide users into business units.
